Scrapbooking Heritage Photos

Wow...I have neglected the old blog! I am now done with my photography class. Hopefully you'll see some more pictures and pages with those pictures in the near future.

My parents came up for a visit over the last weekend in April. My Mom has a scrapbook that she made as a girl, but the paper is falling apart. So, over our past several visits we have been carefully removing the pictures so she can create a new album. We are also mixing in pictures from the albums that her Mother, my Grandma Masters had made for each of us. As part of the process I have been scanning in a lot of the old pictures from my Mom and Grandma.

One of the first scrapbooks I ever made was redoing the album my Grandma made so I could get it out of the magnetic album it was in. But, since then I really haven't done much with Heritage Photos. After scanning them for my Mom and seeing some that I hadn't seen before, I was inspired to make some new pages with these photos as a focus. Here is the first one. I'll have some additional posts this week along the same lines.
