Bloom by Bloom Card

Hello and welcome back! I have a congratulations card today featuring the Bloom by Bloom Stamp Set and stamping on Crumb Cake cardstock. I thought it would be fun to stamp some bright and white inks onto Crumb Cake, and adhered the results to a Thick Whisper White card base. I used Poppy Parade, Pacific Point, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Balmy Blue and Craft Whisper White inks to stamp the flowers, leaves and dots with. I used the Banners for You Stamp Set and the coordinating Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies for the greeting in Pacific Point and Crumb Cake inks.

Ghosts of This Christmas Past

Hello and welcome back! Since I've been sharing a lot of Christmas preparations for 2019, I thought I would also go back and share my cards that I sent for 2018, thus the ghosts of Christmas past title. Man of the products I used are in the 2018-2019 Main Catalog, so you can copy the ideas if you choose. I used the pink constellation patterned paper from the Twinkle, Twinkle Designer Series Paper. My favorite thing about this card is that I die cut the star from a scrap piece of paper, and then sponged some of the shimmer paint through it. Plus twine and sequins finish any card right?

More Christmas Prep

Hello and welcome back! I've been doing some more Christmas prep. I made a fun set of tags last year with the Stitched Felt Embellishments, and you can find the details here. I still had more pieces of the felt left, so I just made more of each of the tag designs. This time I used the Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon for all of the tags, and added a circular element for the ribbon to tie through. I love how these turned out!

Christmas Prep

Hello and welcome back! Every year I have more Christmas project ideas than I have time to complete, and I have to hurry to get my Christmas cards completed. Actually, I usually send them and my annual letter out late! Just ask my friends and family. So, for those reasons and because winter has been lingering in my area, I decided this was the perfect year to start my Christmas prep for 2019 early in the year. I'll be sharing both cards and tags, and maybe other items throughout the year this year. For the first half of the year, I'll use stamp sets and supplies that are in the annual catalog or carried over from the 2018 Holiday Catalog. For the second half of the year, I'm sure I'll be featuring new products from the next Holiday Catalog!

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Cards

Hello and welcome back! Today I'm sharing three similar cards made using the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. Stampin' Up has been featuring simple stamping cards this year, and this month's theme is birthday cards using only stamps, ink, cardstock and patterned paper. I made three versions of the card: one for a new crafter, one stepped up a bit for the casual crafter and one fancy one for the avid crafter.

TGIFC200-Bunches of Butterflies

Hello and welcome back! It's time for this week's theme challenge featuring bunches of butterflies.

I decided to feature another card using the Needle & Thread Bundle, which is one of my favorites from the current Stampin' Up Occasions Catalog. the butterfly patterned paper, the small trio butterfly stamp and the stitched butterfly stamp which coordinates with the Butterfly Duet Punch. The card base is Petal Pink Cardstock, and I stamped the trio butterfly in Petal Pink ink. I wrapped the card with the Petal Pink shimmer ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack. I used the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies to cut a large frame from the Needlepoint Nook 12 X 12 Designer Series Paper. The stitched rectangles go perfectly with this suite! I also cut two layers of the frame from Whisper White Thick Cardstock, and glued all three together. Then, I adhered it to the card base. I stamped the greeting in Night of Navy ink onto more Whisper White Thick Cardstock, and cut it out with the label shape. It's adhered over the ribbon and the rectangle with Stampin' Dimensionals.
