TGIFC142 - Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome back! It's time for another TGIF Challenge, and this week it's a versatile sketch.

I'm currently obsessed with the Fruit Basket Photopolymer Bundle, and the cute little fruit stamps with matching punches! And, look at that beautiful patterned paper. There are some fun fruity patterns, with really nice simple geometric patterns on the reverse.

So, I stamped several strawberries in the background, masking the bowl as I did. Then, I stamped and punched 3 more strawberries, and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals. There are some cute greetings in this set as well, and I combined two of them to say "hello friend".

I added some of the new glitter epoxy shapes and a piece of Dapper Denim Baker's twine to complete the focal point. A piece of Night Of Navy 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon scrunched up serves as the side accent.

Well, that is all for me today. But, please head over to the TGIF Challenge Blog and show us your take on our sketch!

TGIFC138 - Christmas Carol Theme

Hello there! It's time for another TGIF Challenge, this week with a timely theme of Christmas Carols! Stampin' Up! has terrific paper this year with this theme, and in trendy black and white.

I started with the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper, which is lightweight and comes 24 sheets to a package. It's great for layering and all kinds of other fun things.

TGIFC136 - Color Scheme

Hello and welcome back! It's time for a color challenge this week at the TGIF Challenges blog. It's a color combo that lends itself to holiday projects, so I created a set of Christmas tags.

Last week's challenge was about the ombre technique, so I decided to use that too. Did you see the projects last week? They were amazing, weren't they?

TGIFC130 - Theme Challenge

Hello and welcome back! It's time for this week's TGIF Challenge, and our theme challenge this week is Sweater Weather. I love autumn. It's my favorite season, maybe because my birthday is in September? I just love all the beautiful color, the opportunity to put on some cozy sweaters and to drink pumpkin lattes.

I decided this was a great project to play with the Pick a Pumpkin Stamp Set and Patterned Pumpkins Dies. The background is a piece of watercolor paper that I spritzed with Pool Party ink and then dripped on Soft Sky ink using an Aqua Painter. I used So Saffron to cut the sprigs from, and Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie and Very Vanilla for the pumpkins and curls. I used the orange watercolor patterned paper from the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies to ground the shapes with.

TGIFC127 - Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hello and welcome back! I'm back with this week's TGIF Challenge, and it's a fun tic-tac-toe challenge. Our assignment was to select three items in a row, column or diagonally to make our project with. I chose the middle column, so I'm featuring "not a card", Designer Series Paper and Halloween.

TGIFC126 - Technique Challenge Z Fold

Hello and welcome back! It's time for another TGIF Challenge, this week is technique time featuring Z-fold cards. You'll see several different types of Z Fold cards on the site today, so be sure to head over and check them out.

Here is my card for this week. I just love the Glamper Greetings Stamp Set. It has images to dress up the camper for several different seasons and occasions. I set my camper in an autumn scene, and followed the color scheme of the pretty Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. I stamped the images in Black Stazon ink, and then used a blender pen to add ink and blur the solid stamped images.
