Oh So Succulent Projects

Hello and welcome back! Today I'm sharing a couple of additional projects made with the Oh So Succulent stamp set. When I first received this set, I spent some time looking through the main catalog for items to use as containers for the plant images. This was one of my favorite projects using my favorite container discovery! To start, I stamped the plant image with black ink onto a Petite Cafe Gift Bag. Next, I cut banners from Sahara Sand Cardstock and Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate (the gold polka-dots), and a piece of the white Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon from the Combo Pack. I stamped the plants in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Shimmer White Cardstock. Next, I inked the solid plant image with Mint Macaron with some Bermuda Bay in the center (from a marker), spritzed with water and then stamped over the outlines. I hand-trimmed the plants since I didn't have the die set when I made this sample.

Merry Christmas with Festive Stitching Tags

Hello and welcome back! I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas, and to share one more holiday project with you. I've been having fun with the Festive Stitching Thinlits Dies, which are also on sale right now! For this first batch of tags, I die cut the main image from the plaid patterns in the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack. Then, I die cut the stitching lines with the separate dies. The tree and ornament are stitched with Metallic Gold twine, and the star is stitched with the Garden Green twine. I adhered a strip of a different patterned paper on top of the tag. The card bases are from Crumb Cake Cardstock, and the stitched shapes are adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Watercolor Christmas Tags

The following is a blog post that I created for the Stampin' Up! Corporate  blog. Now that it has posted there, I'm sharing these quick tags here for you to enjoy!

Hello there! I’m here today to share some simple and quick Christmas tags with you that also pack a creative punch. Even though it’s close to Christmas, you can still complete several of these for your gift wrapping needs or make a set with a gift box to give as a simple gift. Let me show you how.

Here is the whole set together. If you’ve ever seen my projects, you know that I love using water and Stampin’ Up inks to create various watercolor looks. By using a simple watercolor technique and the Layering Squares Framelits Dies, these tags came together quickly. Also, hopefully you’ve seen the beautiful Christmas Pines Photopolymer Bundle with coordinating stamps and dies. I chose to focus on the stamp set only for these projects.

Fancy Friday - Neutrals Theme

Hello and welcome back! It's time for another Fancy Friday Blog Hop with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team). You'll love all of the wonderful ideas you see on this hop, so be sure to circle all the way around. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Cindy's blog, and I'm sure she inspired you with her project.

This month we have a theme/color challenge focusing on whites, neutrals and winter. Since it's cold outside here in North America, it's not too hard to create along with this theme! I decided to break out the Mountain Adventure Photopolymer Stamp Set, since I don't think it had seen ink yet! I do this to myself every time...I buy so many sets from the Holiday Catalog that I never have time to play with them all before Christmas rolls around and the catalog retires. I have a goal to make some more cards and tags before the end of 2016 to share with you, so stop by and get some more inspiration in the next few weeks.

I made two cards that could be used for a few different reasons in the winter months including Valentine's Day, thinking of you or even a birthday if you changed out the greeting. I love the scene building options with this set.

Artisan Design Team - Tin of Tags Banner

Hello and welcome back! It's time for the next Artisan Design Team blog post, and this is an open week meaning we can use any of the products we received for this quarter. You're in for a treat because we have so much talent and so many different styles represented by these 20 women from around the globe. And on top of their talent, they are fun and fabulous as well. Please keep hopping through all 20 so you don't miss a thing! Be sure to use something like Google Translate for those blogs not in your native language. Also, you can find all of our projects for the year in one easy place, on our Pinterest board. You might have just arrived from Krista Frattin, and I know you loved her beautiful project as much as I did.

This week I decided to use the Tin Of Tags Project Kit to make something besides tags for presents. I thought it would be fun to make a holiday banner! I love how it turned out. If you're a demonstrator, this would be a great class project as it uses 1/3 of the tags. So, you are still able to make two sets of tags as designed originally in the kit! I added just a few supplies to the kit itself to complete the banner.

Artisan Design Team - Tin of Tags Stamps

Hello and welcome back! It's time for the next Artisan Design Team blog post, and this week we're focusing on the Tin of Tags and Here's to Cheers Stamp Sets. Also, you can find all of our projects for the year in one easy place, on our Pinterest board, and this group of projects will also be featured on the Stampin' Up! Corporate Facebook page this Friday. You might have just arrived from Krista Frattin, and I know you loved her beautiful project as much as I did.

So, I chose to work with the Tin of Tags Stamp Set and the Cheerful Tags Framelits Dies. That's right, I'm mixing things up! I also used the beautiful Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Papers to cut my tags from. The papers are a beautiful crisp white, and have raised patterns on them.

Happy Halloween...just barely!

Hello and welcome back! So there are about five minutes left for me to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! Whenever the new Holiday / Winter catalog comes out from Stampin' Up!, I like to purchase the stamp sets and bundles that cover several different holidays. I don't make a lot of Halloween or Thanksgiving crafts, so I love to get multiple uses from a single stamp set or bundle including those two holidays. Tonight I'm sharing the Halloween projects I made with these items.
