Hello and welcome back! It's time for the October Fancy Friday Blog Hop with my fancy friends (all current or former members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team)! This month we're featuring projects with a Mixed Metallics theme. You're in for a creative treat, so be sure to circle all the way around the hop. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Jeanna's blog. I know you enjoyed her project!
So, I took the same design elements, and made 3 different cards with them. I started with a Smoky Slate Cardstock base, Shimmer White Cardstock rectangle that was die cut and backed with Silver Foil Paper, a row of diecuts from Champagne Foil Paper, another row of diecuts from Gold Glimmer Paper and small focal images stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in Copper. The greetings were stamped in Versamark, heat embossed in Copper and backed with Copper Metallic Thread. I also added some texture with the embossing paste on the front white layer.
I love the silver, champagne, gold and copper mixed together! It's so trendy right now. The greeting is from the Star of Light stamp set, and is diecut using the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.
This card uses the Night in Bethlehem bundle. The star has Silver Foil Paper behind it. I love this touch!
The greeting here comes from the Star of Light stamp set, and is die cut with the banner from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits Dies.
And last, but not least, this card is made using the Carols of Christmas bundle.
I added a lot of the texture paste here, and the little deer is probably my favorite part. Also, in order to save Silver Foil paper, I used small pieces behind each die cut piece.
Well, that is all for today. But, please move on to my friend Erica by clicking below!
