Fancy Friday - Think Pink!

Hello and welcome back! It's time for another Fancy Friday Blog Hop with my fancy friends. You'll love all of the wonderful ideas you see on this hop, so be sure to circle all the way around. We also have a Pinterest board that you can follow. You might have just arrived from Connie's blog, and I'm sure her project was beautiful!

This month for Fancy Friday, we're all crushing on pink! We started with the inspiring graphic below. I loved the cupcakes, and pulled the birthday theme from the balloons. It also made me wish I had some donut stamps!

Fancy Friday Think Pink Inspiration

I pulled out this adorable Tasty Trucks stamp set from Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration, and added three little cupcakes. I water-colored the images using Aqua Painters, and inks in Rose Red, Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette. The images are stamped in Basic Gray, so they don't bleed when you water-color them. I also used the "Celebrate" banner image from the Any Occasion stamp set, and the small banner from the Tasty Trucks set.

The main image is stamped on Shimmery White Cardstock, and mounted to Pink Pirouette Cardstock. I notched the edges, and tied some Silver Metallic Thread around the piece (a tip I saw on Krista Fratten's blog). The card base is Thick Whisper White cardstock, with Smoky Slate polka-dot patterned paper layered on. The stamped piece is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I added some really basic decoration to the inside with another strip of polka-dot paper, and a water-colored cupcake and small banner.

Well, that's all for me today. But, please click on the button below to move on to the lovely Sue Plote. She should know a lot about pink! Thanks for stopping by today.
