Hello and welcome back! I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas, and to share one more holiday project with you. I've been having fun with the Festive Stitching Thinlits Dies, which are also on sale right now! For this first batch of tags, I die cut the main image from the plaid patterns in the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack. Then, I die cut the stitching lines with the separate dies. The tree and ornament are stitched with Metallic Gold twine, and the star is stitched with the Garden Green twine. I adhered a strip of a different patterned paper on top of the tag. The card bases are from Crumb Cake Cardstock, and the stitched shapes are adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Since the patterned papers are double-sided, the backs of the tags are super cute too. I added the To/From (from the Tin Of Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set) in Basic Black ink to Crumb Cake circles. Some more Metallic Gold and Garden Green twine from the Baker's Twine Trio Pack completes the tags. Also, the tags were cut with the Banners Framelits Dies.
For the second set, I started by stamping both the solid and detailed images from the Festive Season Photopolymer Stamp Set. The tree is stamped in the Emerald Envy Ombre Pad first, and then Cherry Cobbler. The other two are stamped in Delightful Dijon and Cherry Cobbler, and both are stamped off before stamping onto white cardstock. I used the red and green twines from the trio pack to do the stitching and add to the top of the tags.
I used the Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper for this set of tags. All the greetings are from the same sets as above. I also snuck in a little Gold Foil for the top of the ornament.
See, even the backs of these tags are cute too! Let the pretty patterned papers do the work for you.
Well, once again, have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays with your friends and family members. I'll be back after the holiday with some sneak peaks of the upcoming Occasions Catalog that I can't wait to share with you! I appreciate everyone that stops by my blog, and when you leave a comment it always brightens my day.
