Stamp, Ink, Paper Guest Designer Week 1

Hello and welcome back! This month I'm joining the talented designers over at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge Blog as a guest designer for their weekly challenges.

SIP 37 Challenge

For this challenge, I pulled out the Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set, and got to work. I stamped the ice cream cone on cork, and trimmed it out. Then, I stamped the ice cream portion on three different colors of felt, and trimmed them out as well.

I decided to make a couple of cards with a "punny" scene, featuring one scoop of ice cream having fallen off the cone!

The "miss you" sentiment is from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set. I also used the cute ice cream print from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper, the Softly Falling embossing folder, and the Tags and Labels Framelits Dies.

Here is the other greeting which comes from the Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set.

I added some of my favorite ribbon, the 1/4" Cotton Ribbon in Blushing Bride, and tied the greeting tags to the ribbon with some Whisper White Baker's Twine to complete the card.

Well, that is all for today. I hope you'll join us over at Stamp, Ink, Paper and share a creation you've made with some natural elements of your own! Thanks for stopping by.
