Hello and welcome back! I'm here today with another couple of alternate cards made from the February Paper Pumpkin kit called Hello Sunshine. I love this stamp set! It has such cute, little flowers and the font used for the sentiments is lovely. My first card today is a single layer beauty. I cut a piece from a post-it note using the Chalk Talk Framelits Dies, and adhered that to the front of a Whisper White Thick Cardstock card base. Then, I spritzed over it with a Pool Party ink - alcohol mixture. After that I removed the mask, stamped the greeting and went to town stamping the flowers. The small orange flowers were stamped off once first to get the lighter color. The only pink on this card was the sequins from the kit.
On my second card, I wanted to use the "hello sunshine" stamp from the kit along with the Sunburst Thinlits Die, and I love the result. I thought it would be fun to frame the middle of the sunburst with lots of flowers. The background of this card was spritzed with Pool Party ink again. The rays were cut from patterned vellum from the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack, which also adds a nice subtle pattern. The flowers were all stamped after the card was spritzed around the center circle.
To complete the card, I stamped the greeting in Tangerine Tango onto Blushing Bride Cardstock, and cut it out with the pinked edge circle from the Baker's Box Thinlits. I adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals over some white sewing thread. Some more pink sequins from the kit complete this card.
I'm sharing a graphic too with the colors from these cards and this kit. My last two cards used Soft Sky instead of Pool Party, and I think both are used in the original kit.
Well, that is all for today. You can subscribe to the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit through my website, and I've linked all of the supplies below. Thanks for stopping by!
