Hello, and welcome back! Today I'm sharing my card for the Can You Case It #47 Sketch Challenge. I love a good sketch! And, this one gave me the opportunity to break out a stamp set that I got at Convention back in July, but that I hadn't used yet. This "thanks" image is really pretty on its own, but I decided to step it up a little. I inked the main stamp with Cajun Craze ink, then sponged the edges of the stamp with Blackberry Bliss ink and finally stamped it. I also colored a few of the small leaves with a Versamarker, and then heat embossed them in gold. The greeting panel is edged with Versamark Ink, and then heat embossed in gold also. Some Blackberry Bliss Ribbon is scrunched and sewn under the greeting layer.
The leaf is die-cut from watercolor paper, colored with Cajun Craze, Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meado inks. I also dipped some of the edges in Versamark Ink, and heat embossed them in gold as well. A gold button and some gold baker's twine finishes off this card.
I hope you can join us by sharing your project over at the Can You Case It website.
Well, that is all for today. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving Day if you are in the U.S. I had all my family with me, in a toasty warm house and we shared a lovely meal together. I'm counting my blessings and feeling grateful! Thanks for stopping by.
