Hello, and welcome back! Today I have a card to share for the Freshly Made Sketches Blog Challenge #147. When I first saw this sketch, I pictured a piece of art cut into three rectangles. So, I decided to use the Work of Art set for my card. I really love how this turned out! I made my own miniature piece of contemporay art. That's what I love about this set...it seems to do all of the hard work for you. The greeting is from the set as well. The card base is Smoky Slate cardstock, and I matted the three pieces in the same color.
I stamped the greeting in Black Stazon ink onto Vellum Cardstock, and wrapped it around the white panel along with some Cherry Cobbler twine and adhered it to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. A Cherry Cobbler button and a twine bow complete this card.
Here is the sketch that I used.
I tried a new color combo for this card as well. I actually pulled out my Tempting Turquoise, which hasn't seen any use in awhile!
Well, that is all for today. Thanks for stopping by!
