Welcome back to my blog! Today, I am sharing two more itty bitty cards for the Make an Itty Bitty Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. I am telling you, if you start making these little cards you won't be able to stop. These are 3" x 3" when folded. I started with a 6" x 3" piece of Stampin' Up Real Red Core'dinations cardstock, folded it in half and sanded it a little bit so the core color would show through. I added a strip of patterned paper from the More Amore Designer Series Paper and layered on some stamp images and baker's twine.
These little stamped hearts were actually scraps from another project. I just added more stamped images from the Lovely Little Labels stamp set which includes the postage stamps, mini heart, postmark and the word "sweet". Love these little images added to other stamps. Plus, they have cute little matching punches like the one I used on the stamps! Here is a closeup of the card front.
Here is my second card for today. I started with the Real Red Core'dinations card stock again, but didn't rough up the edges this time. The small heart was embossed and sanded, and attached with an arrow clip. The chevron strip at the top is stamped onto Stampin' Up's new Creped Filter Paper, applied to Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets and die cut into a banner shape using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits Dies. I used the matching stamp set and the same dies to stamp and die cut the middle banner. Then, I added two buttons, and a stamped and punched "love" image from the Ciao, Baby! stamp set.
Here is a closeup of this card front.
Well, that is all for today. I hope you have time to try this challenge. Just pick up a few items that are left out on your crafting desk, make some itty bitty cards and embellish away! Tomorrow, I will have some more Sale-a-Brations samples to share. Thanks for stopping by!
