Christmas Tags Part 6

The other gem sticker that was with the candy canes was these small crystal snowflakes. I love them! I made these fold in half with the greeting to/from inside.I hope you enjoy them! At first I was thinking I would buy some of the Martha Steward doiles, but I desided to download some shapes to my Silhouette instead! One of them was this cool snowflake. So, I hope you enjoy!

Christmas Tags Part 5

So, I made these tags as part of my series of Christmas tags. I'll probably use some for myself, and maybe give some away as gifts also! So, I really like how these started out with using some gem candy canes that have been in my stash for awhile, and how I used a vellum circly over the busier paper to stamp on. But, then I started to think that the striped section on the oval tags looked more like a surf board than a Christmas tag! I don't think the final product is that way. What do you think? Maybe I should have included the song "Surfin' Santa" on this blog entry!

Christmas Tags Part 4

I intended to post these tags for the Papertrey Blog Hop on the 25th, but I didn't have time to complete the post. I really like how these turned out. I used the Tag Sale Die #2 from PTI as the base, the Limitless Layers set for the circle and the scalloped circle, and a small Quickutz christmas tree die for the little felt trees. I layered beads over sequins on the tress for ornaments and finished off the tags with some retired large circle eyelets from Stampin' Up. Enjoy!

Christmas Tags Pt. 3

So, continuing on my Christmas Tags theme, I have a few other tags to share. I made these using the "lazy stamper's accordian medallion" technique that Nichole Heady shared on her blog. I used the tag sale #2 die from papertrey Ink, but I used the scallop circle punch from Stampin' Up for the medallions. Also, I made my own scrunch ribbon from rayon seam binding from, and some red Tattered Angels glimmer mist (can't remember the shade I used). I finished it off with some buttons from PTI. Enjoy!

Christmas Tags 2010 Pt. 2

Here are some more Christmas tags using my stash of Christmas paper (a lot of Basic Grey and Stampin' Up!) and embellishments. The American Crafts stickers I received free with a purchase contained two stickers, so I made this set of tags with the snowflake sticker. I had a harder time using this sticker because of the gray background, but I found that it looked nice against the very patterned Christmas paper. For the title, I made a long, thin strip of paper 1/2" wide and notched the ends. I also folded the ends under, and put a dimensional foam sticker under the middle. I really like how these turned out as well. The back has "To: From:" stamped on it. Enjoy!

Christmas Tags 2010 Pt. 1

My crafting buddy and friend Tiffany came over a couple of weekends ago, and we started working on Christmas projects. With the cooler weather and most of the fall leaves off the trees, I'm definitely getting in the mood for Christmas projects. I have a really large stash of Christmas paper and embellishments to pull from. So does my friend Tiffany. She brought a few of the older products, and challenged herself to use them. I decided to accept the same challenge, and I pulled out many of my older embellilshments onto my work table. I have some American Crafts Details stickers that were free with a purchase at Archiver's. I'm sure I have had them for at least one year, maybe two! Tiffany had the same stickers, and made some cute tags using them. Here is my take on the stocking stickers. I stamped the title on green paper, cut the letters apart and then glued them to the white title area. I hope you enjoy these tags. There will be many more projects to come over the next couple of weeks.
