Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #15

6a00e54ef2e29988330120a5681dbe970c-500wi

I'm just slipping in under the time limit with this week's card for the RSCC #15!  I used some new felt shapes from American Crafts that I just purchased not too long ago along with the Cherry Hill paper collection from October Afternoon.  I hope you like it.  I have a few more cards using these same products to post later.  But for now, enjoy!

More Cards of Good Cheer!

Here are some more of the cards that I made a couple of weeks back with the girls.  I had a lot of fun using this Stampin' Up Cheers to You set for the first time.  I had to steal some sayings from other sets to get more variety, but I love all of the images that come with this set.  Plus, I used one of my favorite patterned paper lines from My Mind's Eye called Laundry Line designed by Jen Wilson.  Hope you enjoy them too!

Color Challenge #14 from Dawn McVey

I'm squeaking in before the deadline for Dawn McVey's Color Challenge #14.  I wasn't sure what to do with all of the bold and bright colors, but I like what I came up with.

More Craft Weekend Goodies

During my craft weekend, I took another Stampin' Up set that I have been meaning to use and used my Copic markers as well!  I really liked this Cheers to You set.  I wish it had more than one greeting though.  So, I pulled a few greetings from my Papertrey sets and also used an alphabet to create the Olive card.  It felt good to use all of the images in the set.  I also used a My Mind's Eye 8x8 paper kit that I got for free at Archiver's!  I love this line, and have all of the cardstock in 12x12 as well.  It's currently my favorite paper line.  :-)  So, I hope you enjoy the cards!

August Craft Weekend #1

I got together with my friends Janie and Tiffany this past weekend for some paper-crafting.  I made a mini-album from my Colorado vacation.  It still needs some journaling and one more photo before adding it to this site.  Watch for it at a later date!

Anyway, I wanted to play with my Copic markers and some line-art sets from Stampin' Up! most of which are retired.  I used the Hostess set from a couple of catalogs back.  I have so many retired stamps that I don't want to get rid of because I'm not done playing with them.  So, I'm proud of myself for reaching for an older set and even using retired ribbon and older fibers!  There aren't a lot of embelishments, but I like leaving them this way especially with the extra color that the Copics bring.  So, I hope you enjoy my creations!

Colorado Vacation

Well, it has been awhile since I posted.  I spent a week Estes Park, Colorado and up in Rocky Mountain National Park.  It was cool and rainy a lot of the time, but it was still fresh, crisp mountain air and smells of pine everywhere.  Here are a couple of pictures after the fact of the trip.

This is me on the trail around Sprague Lake in the Park.
